Ryan signed his card to Papa this year all by himself. He made his mark for sure...a cute keepsake.

Julie Ryan and I were out garage sale hopping and on our way home were going to stop at Michael's Craft store. When we pulled into the parking lot the 2 towering bounce houses in front of the Old Navy caught our attention. There was a chili cook off in progress as a fund raiser for St. Judes, so we stopped in to check it out. It was a dollar for 5 minutes in the bounce house....Ryan love every second. He quickly figured out that he could jump on the furniture and not get yelled at.

Today Ryan and I went to Walmart for groceries and ended up finding him a really cool winter coat. It has 2 layers that can be used together or separate and also both coats are reversible! Super cool! Ryan was a good little model, here he was trying to play hide & seek.

It's almost Halloween! Ryan was just trying some stuff on for size.....how about these glam glasses?!?!?...super cute Punkin!

Tonight Michael, Ryan and I met Paul, Elizabeth and Nicole at Olive Garden to help Paul celebrate his birthday. It was a great dinner, we got to share some new stories and reminisce about some from the past, most being at the expense of the birthday boy to go along with the embarrassment of the staff of 2 that sang him Happy Birthday. After paying and chatting we went out to see Elizabeth's ride. She has just started riding solo, we were all very proud. And Paul wanted to let Ryan sit on his motorcycle but Ryan wouldn't do it by himself, so I sat on it with him. Then he loved it, Paul even let him push the starter and rev it up which totally excited Ryan. These pics were taken with my camera phone, the first one was pretty good for it being dark out, It actually picked up the led lights to a degree, it surprised me.

OH NO! On my Lunch today I went to Michael's craft store only to find when I came out of the store, a girl waiting next to my car to inform me that she had hit it while trying to park in the space next to mine. At least she stuck around to give me her info and take care of it. I felt bad for her and how upset she was about it, I wasn't really mad, these things happen.

Today we went to a funeral for Leslie Slay. Michael and I rode with Lanny and Rodger. It was a nice day and a good trip. Nice to hang out with 2 of Mike's friends and learn more about them. When we got back to Lanny's house, he showed us his nice yard and his amazing stag horn plant. It was 15 years old and huge! I can't wait for my teeny tiny one to look like this.

Today we decorated Halloween cookies at Brynn's house. It was fun and a good way to be creative in one sitting. David played with Ryan while we frosted and sprinkled, he is a great helper.

Scrap-booking at Thomasville Baptist Church with the girls. I met a new scrapper today, Jacqueline. She introduced me to this project.

Okay...today was Croptober Fest(Creative Memories hosts this) and there were 5 of us girls that went together. One of them was new to me, Her name is Jacqueline, Sara's coworker. She was very nice and had great idea's. One of the things she showed us was her Project 365 scrapbook. What a great idea...Thanks Jacqueline!!! I am going to start my self by posting here on my blog and then putting them all in a book as well. So here's to the last year of my 20's...let's get started.

IT’S HOT OUT!

Happy Birthday JUNE babies!

Okay….this is going to be short because we have been super busy this month traveling and visiting and doing yard work! So I have been unable to organize pictures I have taken in the past month to get them posted here in the newsletter. So I will be sure to get some of them next month. So far this month we have traveled to New Smyrna Beach for a short vacation with Grandma and Pa-Pa Hardy to celebrate Grandma Patty’s Birthday and see Aunt Jennifer, Pete, Alexis, Courtney and Suzie…(aka…Nancy, inside joke). The beach was great and the condo we stayed in was nice. Going out to dinner was a feat all in itself but was redeemed the next day with beach golf cart rides, and we all forgot that it took 2 hours before we got to eat that night. When we left there we met GrandRox on I-75 and dropped Ryan off to her for a visit until Friday when we will travel over to St. Augustine to pick him up and visit Uncle Casey and Amanda’s new home.
At the end of the month when we are finally at home for a weekend we are going to have a few people over with their kids to play in a kiddy pool and eat some cake, but not before we finish with a bunch of yard work. So far we have had 1 dump truck load of rock poured for our drive back to the now finished pole barn and another coming today. Hopefully one more after that should finish the job but Michael says he doesn’t think so. After this it will need some grass seed and then it should be done for a while.

Potty training came to a slow point, Ryan doesn’t need to potty anymore according to him. Every time I ask or tell him it’s time to go potty I get a big resounding “no” and he closes the lid on it. We are going to keep trying though. Other than that, no more big news as of now, we will keep you all posted.
